Angie Hauser is a performance maker and teacher. She has a 20 year partnership with choreographer, Bebe Miller that has yielded a critically acclaimed body of performance work, as well as various digital and written projects. She performs and teaches all over the place with collaborator Chris Aiken. Upcoming engagements include the International Contact Festival in Freiburg, Germany and I Dance festivals in Japan, Taipei, and Hong Kong.
Sarah Elizabeth Lass is a Denver-raised, Northampton-based performer, dance maker, teacher, and writer. Her creative and scholarly research cuts across disciplines, drawing upon neurophysiology, somatics, philosophy, architecture, visual art, landscape studies and creative writing. Engaging her extensive study of improvisation, her most recent work centers around the concept of resonance, looking at the ecological, aesthetic, and imaginative conditions of experiences of illuminating coexistence. As a performer, Lass has most recently worked with Angie Hauser and the Bebe Miller Company. Her choreography has been presented by SCDT, Smith College, Triskelion Arts, ArtBark Collective, and others. Lass graduated from Smith College with an MFA in Dance in 2018 and currently teaches at Smith College and Keene State College.
Will Owen, originally from North Carolina, US is an artist, composer, and curator currently based in Philadelphia, PA. Will works with many types of mediums to get convey ideas but returns to three: Sound, Installation Design, and Food. He has exhibited or performed internationally in Denmark, France, Iceland, Pakistan, Freetown Christiania, China, Wales, and Russia. Will has shown work nationally at such institutions as The Museum of the Moving Image (NYC), Philadelphia Water Works Museum, DanceSpace, Black Mountain College Museum, Judson Church, Independent Seaport Museum (Philadelphia) and Flux Factory (NYC). He has been collaborating with Xan Burley + Alex Springer for 5 horizon expanding years.
Hsiao-Jou was born and raised in Taiwan. She moved to New York in 2004 to attend SUNY Purchase College, and graduated in 2008 with a BFA in Dance. Tang has had the great pleasure of working with a number of wonderful people and companies including Doug Varone and Dancers, Netta Yerushalmy, Kyle Abraham/ Abraham.in.motion, Shen Wei Dance Arts, Kevin Wynn Collection, Sidra Bell Dance NY, Daniel Charon Dance, Nora Petroliunas/The Pharmacy Project and the Metropolitan Opera Ballet. She has been collaborating with Xan and Alex since 2010. Hsiao-Jou is thrilled to be here and has had a great time working and dancing with all of the amazing folks.
Libby Wolf has leaped from Phoenix, AZ to New York City to live her dream as a performer and choreographer. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola Marymount University with a B. A. in Dance, along with a 200-Hour Teaching Certification in Yoga. While in school she had the pleasure to perform in works by Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, Daniel Ezralow, Keith Johnson, Lillian Barbeito, and Roz LeBlanc Loo. Since moving to New York, Libby has worked with Inclined Dance Project, Netta Yerushalmy, Xan Burley + Alex Springer, Jordan Lloyd, Katie Skinner, and Emily Craver/The Little Streams. She served as a production intern for Movement Research. Libby explores her own creative voice alongside the incredible voices she collaborates and studies with.
